He has twisted and turned the movie to the extent of literally keeping the audience on their toes. Better stay alert for unthinkable gags while watching this movie.

The Ugly Truth starred by Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler, is one movie far from predictability. The trailers depict Butler (called Mike in the movie) as the guru of relationships. This is exactly what Heigl disagrees about. She takes offence of him being a know – it – all like any of us would. But if you pay close attention you will realize he admits that he doesn’t understand a thing about romance or love. He also admits he knows much about lust and manipulation. But if you can relax and just watch a movie for what it is, I think this movie will work excellently well for you. As mentioned in my first blog post, this movie is ‘R’ rated. It is full of adult humor which is nice for a change. The trailer of this movie promises that you will be laughing and enjoying this movie throughout. Mike played by Butler and Abby played by Heigl are the 2 main characters in the film The Ugly Truth. Mikes sophistication and confidence quarrelling with Abby’s lack of it, will make this movie a successful comedy. Many viewers of the trailer have labeled certain scenes like the dinner scene and the scene where Mike and Abby go shopping as ‘hilarious’. The shopping snippet is worth a laugh as Mike lands up being the one approving Abby’s wardrobe.
